Compliance and certifications

What used to be a differentiator became a qualification requirement.

Large contracts have changed their requirements in recent years. Where price and technical capacity once sufficed, today there are data protection clauses, sustainability indicators, process certification and environmental licences in force — and they are not in the contract out of virtue, they are there because whoever contracts you is jointly liable for what you do.

The practical effect is a silent selection: technically capable companies are disqualified at the pre-qualification stage over an expired document. The competition is not lost on price; it is lost earlier, in an annex. And recovery is slow, because certification has an audit timeline that urgency does not accelerate.

We implement what is missing and maintain what exists, with a calendar and a named owner — the same mechanics as the clearance certificates. The point that usually goes unnoticed is that an expired certification is worse than one never obtained: the first appears in the client's records as a maintenance failure, the second merely as a gap. Compliance here is not institutional rhetoric — it is the difference between being in the competition and watching it from outside, with the product ready and the paperwork not.

A point that catches many good companies: the compliance requirement usually reaches your suppliers too, by contract. Which means qualification depends on documents that are not in your hands — and putting your own house in order without organising the chain means discovering the problem on delivery day.

How we are paid

Implementation project with closed scope and price, and a maintenance retainer with a calendar of audits and renewals. An expired certification is worse than one never obtained: it appears in the client's records as a maintenance failure. The retainer exists so that this date is never discovered by the client before it is discovered by us.
